What is MAP?

MAP (Member Application Process) offers a new approach to sorority recruitment that emphasizes fairness, equity, and accessibility. This process has been structured to remove all potential stressors for PNMs (Potential New Members) and create an environment that feels inclusive and respectful to all. 
MAP is completely free for all PNMs!

How does the recruitment process work?

Accepted Answer

After attending the pre-recruitment meeting and open houses for each sorority, PNMs will "Pick a Path," choosing to pursue recruitment with either the National Panhellenic sororities or local Tufts sororities (that's us!). After picking a path, PNMs will go through a few smaller rounds of events with the local sororities where they will get to learn more about Thalia's values and sisterhood. Finally, PNMs will be invited to a quick interview with Thalia members to get to know you in a smaller setting. A few days later, final bids will be sent out!

I can't make it to a MAP round. What happens now?

Accepted Answer

We understand that prior commitments may have to come first, so we offer written applications in place of MAP rounds. However, we encourage that all PNMs try their best to attend MAP events in-person so that we can get to know you!
